What are the best exercises for the Calves?
Band Two Legs Calf Raise - (Band Under Both Legs) (Version 2), Barbell Calf Jump, Barbell Seated on Knee Calf Raise and Barbell Standing Leg Calf Raises are among the most effective calves exercises. Pair a heavy compound movement with one or two assistance exercises to train the calves through its full range.
How often should you train the Calves?
Training the calves two to three times per week, with roughly 10–20 hard sets in total, works well for most lifters. Leave about 48 hours between demanding calves sessions so the muscle can recover and grow.
